Pick Up from Kampala and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel after breakfast. You'll then depart from Entebbe\Kampala by road and head southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Buhoma sector. You'll have a stopover for some informative talk and a splendid photographic opportunity at the Equator. Then, you'll continue to Mbarara town for lunch. You'll travel through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations.

Gorilla Trekking Experience and Visit to the Women Community

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast. Then, with your packed lunch, you will report to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park officials. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. 1 hour is allowed with the gorillas for photography and observation as they play, feed and groom. After enjoying an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience, you'll join the inspiring Ride 4 woman community experience, where your journey supports women's empowerment, local livelihoods, and sustainable tourism in Uganda.

If you request a post-night, please let us know in advance.
