Your adventure starts with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar, followed by a ferry ride to Dar es Salaam. From there, you’ll enjoy a scenic business-class SGR train journey to Morogoro, saving travel time while taking in the views. At Morogoro station, your driver-guide will meet you and transfer you to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a hot lunch at Camp Lilac, then visit a traditional Maasai village to experience local culture and traditions firsthand. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay in a serene safari setting.

Full-Day Safari in Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, set out on a full-day game drive across Mikumi’s expansive plains, often likened to the Serengeti for its wide-open landscapes and abundant wildlife. Spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly lions, along with a variety of bird species. Your guide will provide insights into the park’s ecosystem while taking you to the best wildlife viewing spots. A picnic lunch inside the park keeps you immersed in the safari experience. Return to Camp Lilac in the late afternoon for dinner and overnigh.
