Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning (around 07:30) and drive southwest to the Masai Mara (approx. 5–6 hours), stopping for scenic views along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enter the reserve and enjoy your first game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes en route to your lodge.

Arrive at your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, enjoy another game drive to experience the Mara’s predator-rich plains before returning for dinner and overnight.

Full Day in Masai Mara

Spend the entire day on game drives across the Mara’s open savannahs, exploring riverine forests and watering holes. Spot lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, and hyenas.

Optional: Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park to maximize wildlife viewing. Afternoon drives continue through prime wildlife areas for photography and birdwatching.

Full Day in Masai Mara

Enjoy another full day of safari drives, venturing deeper into the reserve to find elusive predators, large herds, and unique wildlife interactions. The Mara is home to the Big Five, with rhino being rare.

Afternoon drives provide more photography opportunities and the chance to spot migratory herds depending on the season. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Maasai Village Visit – Return to Nairobi

After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village to learn about traditional Maasai culture, customs, and lifestyle. Engage with the community, observe beadwork, traditional dances, and take photos with permission.

After the village visit, check out and drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hours), arriving in the afternoon and marking the end of the safari.
