Day 1

Arrival in Kigali - City Tour and Transfer to Musanze

Arrival in Kigali - City Tour and Transfer to Musanze

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport or pick-up from your hotel, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide. The day begins with a brief Kigali city tour, offering insight into Rwanda’s history and culture. Highlights include:
Visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, Drive through key city landmarks and neighborhoods, Short stop at a local craft or souvenir market (optional)
After the city tour, depart Kigali and drive north to Musanze, located at the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes. The scenic journey takes approximately 2 - 3 hours and offers beautiful views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and countryside.

Day 2

Golden Monkey Trekking – Transfer to Bwindi, Uganda

Golden Monkey Trekking – Transfer to Bwindi, Uganda

After an early breakfast, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers. You will then proceed for Golden Monkey Trekking, a unique and exciting experience as you walk through bamboo forests in search of these playful and endangered primates.

The trek usually lasts between 1–3 hours depending on the movement of the monkeys. Once found, you will have time to observe and photograph them as they leap through the forest canopy.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch, then begin your journey toward Uganda via the Cyanika boader. After clearing immigration formalities, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon or early evening, check in, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, you will transfer to the Bwindi park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You will then be assigned a gorilla family and begin your gorilla trekking experience.

The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas, and involves walking through dense rainforest and hilly terrain. Once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed one unforgettable hour in their presence to observe their behavior, take photographs, and learn from your guide.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you may choose to visit batwa community visit.

Day 4

Transfer to Entebbe – Departure

Transfer to Entebbe – Departure

After an early breakfast, depart Bwindi for Entebbe. The journey takes approximately 7–8 hours, passing through scenic countryside, tea plantations, and local towns.
A lunch stop will be made en route. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport or your hotel, depending on your departure schedule.

This marks the end of your safari.
