A Great Way To See Uganda - Bucketlist Trip

Booking was easy and safe. The tour plan was totally customized to our needs. Isaac made several suggestions that were perfect. (Frankly, I had no idea what a Shoebill bird was...but having seen one, I highly recommend that excursion.) Some of the highlights were gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park, chimpanzee trekking (Kibale NP), a game drive in Lake Mburo NP, seeing rhinos in the reserve, and seeing 4 leopards! We also added a white water trip on the Nile just north of Jinja and the "Source of the Nile".

Dress for much cooler weather in the mountainous southern part of Uganda, and for much hotter weather near Murchison Falls in the northwest. Long safari pants and hiking boots are a must when trekking for gorillas and chimps. If you fill out the visa form online, then getting your visa at the Entebbe airport is easy. Access to ATM machines is decent (and Isaac knows where they ALL are!!). Also, we use T-Mobile for cell service in the USA and international access to 4G and 5G was plentiful.

And don't forget to pack a good attitude! This is a once in a lifetime trip to one of the worlds best places to see wildlife up close and personal.

Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. Isaac, our guide, was always available, incredibly helpful, and full of knowledge. The places we visited were absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations.

Very quickly, Isaac became more than just a guide, he was more like a friend traveling with us rather than a service provider. His openness made this trip truly special.

As for Uganda itself, we honestly have no words. We have never experienced so much. The nature, the people, the emotions — everything was unforgettable.

Thank you once again, Isaac, for everything. We highly and wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

Isaac is an amazing guide. He knows all the good and stunning places. He knows what his customers need and makes sure you have everything you need. He knows so much about nature, birds,… I had a great and unforgettable time. If you visit Uganda make sure you do it with Leone tours. A super team!

My trip to Africa turned out to be one of the most unforgettable and inspiring experiences of my life. Each place I visited had its own unique atmosphere, and the smooth organization of the entire journey made everything even more enjoyable. Our guide was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive, which made me feel safe and well-taken-care-of throughout the trip.
The Bwindi Rainforest was an absolute highlight — lush, mysterious, and full of life. Trekking through the forest and encountering mountain gorillas in their natural habitat was truly magical. Observing their calm behavior and close family bonds was both humbling and deeply moving.
Queen Elizabeth National Park impressed me with its vast savannas, wetlands, and endless horizons. The safari there offered amazing wildlife sightings, from lions and elephants to hippos and buffaloes. Thanks to the excellent guidance and organization, every moment felt well-planned yet filled with natural excitement.
Murchison Falls National Park was pure power and beauty combined. Watching the Nile push through a narrow rocky gorge and cascade down with incredible force was breathtaking. The scenery, along with the abundance of wildlife, created an unforgettable atmosphere.
Overall, the trip was more than just sightseeing — it was a deep and personal encounter with nature at its most authentic. Africa amazed me, taught me humility, and left a lasting mark on my heart. I’m truly grateful for the flawless organization and for having such a dedicated and supportive guide who made the entire journey even more special.
