Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s vibrant capital, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After some refreshment, begin your city tour with a visit to the Ethnological Museum, housed in the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie, offering deep insight into Ethiopia’s diverse cultures and history. Continue to the Holy Trinity Cathedral, an important religious and historical landmark. Early departure to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe, one of the most iconic ethnic groups of the Omo Valley, known for their traditional lifestyle and distinctive lip plates worn by women. After the visit, continue driving south through remote and scenic landscapes to Turmi, home of the Hamar people. If conditions permit, you may witness the famous bull-jumping ceremony, a traditional rite of passage for young men.
