Arrive at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your professional guide. Transfer to your hotel and check in to relax after your international flight. If time permits, enjoy a short city orientation tour to get your first impression of Ethiopia’s vibrant capital, including key landmarks and viewpoints. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant, where you will taste local dishes such as injera with various stews, accompanied by live cultural music and dance performances. After breakfast, depart early for the Bale Mountains region, either by scenic drive or domestic flight followed by a drive to the park. Travel through the beautiful Ethiopian highlands, passing small villages, farmland, and dramatic landscapes. In the afternoon, explore the Dinsho area, the headquarters of Bale Mountains National Park. Enjoy a guided nature walk to spot endemic wildlife such as mountain nyala, Menelik’s bushbuck, warthogs, and various bird species unique to Ethiopia. The Bale Mountains are one of Africa’s most important biodiversity hotspots.

In the morning, you will enjoy more scenic views of the Bale Mountains, with opportunities for photography and short walks in the afro-alpine landscape. Then drive south toward the Great Rift Valley, descending from the cool highlands into warmer lowland areas. Arrive at Lake Chamo in the afternoon, located near the town of Arba Minch. Take a boat safari on the lake to see large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and a rich variety of birdlife including pelicans, storks, and fish eagles. Enjoy the stunning lakeside scenery with views of the surrounding hills.

Explore the stone settlements and see the wooden statues known as Waka, which commemorate ancestors and respected community members. Depart Konso and drive through scenic landscapes toward Jinka, the gateway to the Lower Omo Valley. Along the way, enjoy views of hills, valleys, and traditional rural villages. Learn about their cattle-based culture, daily activities, and social traditions from your guide. This is a unique opportunity for cultural interaction and photography.

In the morning, you may visit a local market or a nearby tribal village to see traditional trade and daily life in the Omo Valley. Then begin your drive north back to Arba Minch, passing scenic landscapes and rural settlements. Arrive in Arba Minch in the afternoon and enjoy some free time to relax at your lodge, swim, or enjoy the panoramic views over Lakes Chamo and Abaya. Optionally, take a short excursion or walk around the town. Arba Minch is known for its beautiful nature and pleasant climate.

Enjoy leisure time depending on your international flight schedule. If time allow you wiil visit the12 century rock hewn cherch of Adadadi Maryam built by king Lalibela it takes about 3 - 4 hrs after back to Addis, you will do last-minute shopping, the guide will transfer you to Addis Ababa Bole International Airport for your departure flight. This marks the end of your unforgettable journey through the Bale Mountains, Rift Valley lakes, and the culturally rich Lower Omo Valley of Ethiopia.
