Zanzibar - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, you will take a flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, where you will meet your private safari guide. From there, you will drive to Tarangire National Park for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park’s huge elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. In the evening, you will be transferred to a mid-range lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and your overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This is one of the best places in Africa to see all the “Big Five” in a single day, including lions, elephants, and buffalo. With some luck, you may also spot a rhino or leopard. In the evening, you will return to a lodge in Karatu for your overnight stay.
