Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel or Airport in Nairobi by your professional driver-guide. Begin your journey south toward Amboseli National Park, with scenic views of the countryside, local homesteads, and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s distant silhouette as you approach the park. Arrive in Amboseli around midday and check in at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, weather permitting, and watch for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of birdlife.

Amboseli National Park

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive – one of the best times to capture stunning photos of Mount Kilimanjaro as its snow-capped peak glows in the early light. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of elephants and sweeping open plains. Return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy some mid-morning leisure time. Later, head out with packed picnic lunches for a full-day game drive to explore more of Amboseli, including the seasonal Lake Amboseli, Observation Hill, and the swamps that attract hippos and a variety of bird species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy an optional early morning game drive to spot more wildlife as the park awakens, followed by breakfast at the lodge. Check out and begin your drive back to Nairobi with scenic views along the way.

You will arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel or airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your safari.
