After arrival and time to settle in, enjoy a guided afternoon bush walk at Makuwa, led by an experienced local guide. Explore the surrounding bush to spot tracks, small wildlife, plants, and learn about the ecosystem. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Kruger National Park Game Drives

Wake up early and depart before sunrise with your guide in the Makuwa open safari vehicle (OSV) for a full day of game drives inside Kruger National Park. Both breakfast and lunch are enjoyed inside the park, allowing uninterrupted wildlife viewing. Morning and afternoon drives maximize opportunities to see the Big Five, plains game, and bird species. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Panorama Route Excursion

After breakfast, embark on a full day tour of the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga. Visit iconic sights including God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Three Rondavels, and the Blyde River Canyon. Enjoy short walks at scenic viewpoints and photo stops. Your guide provides insights into the geology, wildlife, and cultural history of the region. Return to Makuwa Safari Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Manyeleti Game Drives & Optional Pridelands Bushwalk

Start the day with a morning game drive in Manyeleti Game Reserve in an open safari vehicle. In the morning only, clients aged 16 and older may participate in the optional, own expense, Pridelands bushwalk, guided by armed rangers for an immersive experience of the bush and wildlife tracking. Return to the lodge for lunch and enjoy an optional afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight.

Exit to Johannesburg

After breakfast and check out, begin your return journey to Johannesburg. Relax on the scenic drive through Mpumalanga, with optional stops for photos or to stretch your legs. The tour concludes upon arrival at your designated drop-off point in Johannesburg.
