Begin your adventure with a scenic morning flight from Entebbe to the breathtaking landscapes of southwestern Uganda. As you soar above rolling hills, lakes, and rural villages, you'll gain a unique perspective of the country's beauty before landing near the Park. Upon arrival, transfer to your luxury lodge nestled on the edge of the rainforest and take time to settle into your surroundings.
In the evening, you may choose to go for an optional Batwa cultural experience(no extra cost), one of Uganda's oldest indigenous communities, to learn about their traditions, music, storytelling, and deep connection to the forest they once called home.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It protects nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, making it one of Africa's most remarkable conservation areas.

Day 2

Today is the highlight of your journey. After an early breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off with experienced ranger guides. The trek takes you through lush vegetation and rugged terrain as you follow signs of a habituated gorilla family hidden within the forest.
The moment you finally encounter the gorillas is difficult to put into words. Watching a silverback survey his family, observing playful youngsters tumbling through the vegetation, and witnessing the gentle interactions between group members creates an experience that is powerful and deeply moving. You'll spend one hour in their presence before returning to the lodge.
Mountain gorillas are found in a few protected forests on Earth. Their survival is one of conservation's greatest success stories, and every trekking permit contributes directly to protecting these magnificent animals and supporting local communities.

Wake up to the sounds of the rainforest and enjoy a relaxed morning at your lodge. Depending on your flight schedule, take in the spectacular views one last time before transferring to the airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe.
As you fly over Uganda's rolling landscapes, you'll have time to reflect on the extraordinary encounter you've just experienced. From the thrill of tracking gorillas through an ancient rainforest to the serenity of staying deep in the heart of Bwindi, this short luxury escape offers memories that will last a lifetime.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will be transferred either to your hotel or left at Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey.
