Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving north through central Kenya’s highlands and scenic countryside. After passing Mount Kenya region and crossing the equator, you descend into the dramatic semi-arid landscape of Samburu. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by some relaxation. In the late afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve, renowned for its unique wildlife such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. Spend the entire day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. The Ewaso Nyiro River attracts abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and crocodiles. Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Samburu – Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast, depart Samburu and head south toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in this celebrated private conservancy, home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa, as well as the last two northern white rhinos. You may also visit the chimpanzee sanctuary (time permitting). Ol Pejeta offers diverse wildlife viewing, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and plains game. Dinner and overnight at the conservancy.
