1-Day Mount Kilimanjaro Guided Hike from Arusha/Moshi

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your journey begins at Marangu Gate (1,860m) near Moshi, the official entrance to Kilimanjaro National Park and the starting point of the famous Marangu Route, often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route” for its gentle gradients and well-established trail. You’ll meet your certified mountain guide for a safety briefing and hike overview.

The ascent leads you into Kilimanjaro’s lush montane rainforest, where towering trees, vibrant flora and cool mountain air set the tone for the adventure. The well-marked trail winds upward for approximately 3–4 hours to Mandara Hut. Along the way, you may encounter blue monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys and a variety of birdlife.

At Mandara Hut, you’ll pause to enjoy a packed lunch and take in the serene surroundings before descent. The return hike follows the same scenic path, taking about 2–3 hours back to Marangu Gate. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate of participation a meaningful keepsake of your Kilimanjaro experience.
