Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

06:00 AM: Depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park, a drive of approximately 6 hours.

12:00 PM: Arrive at Mikumi National Park and enjoy a picnic lunch.

01:00 PM: Begin an afternoon game drive across the park. The Mikumi floodplain is the park’s main highlight, bordered by scenic mountain ranges. Wildlife commonly seen in this area includes lions, hartebeests, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants.

06:30 PM: Continue the game until sunset, then drive to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

06:30 AM: Breakfast at the lodge.

07:00 AM: Depart for a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch. Spend the morning exploring the park’s vast floodplains and scenic landscapes while spotting a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and many more.

12:30 PM: Picnic lunch

01:30 PM: Continue with the afternoon game drive, enjoying further wildlife viewing.

06:30 PM: Game drive ends at sunset. Drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

01:30 PM: Arrival in Dar es Salaam, with drop-off at the airport, ferry port, or your hotel.
