Day 1

Ari Highlands Village & Cultural Experience
You'll fly from Addis to Jinka. You'll have a car pick-up from Jinka Airport. You'll check in at the hotel. After that, you'll visit the Ari tribe. This tribe is different from the Omo Valley because of their lifestyle, how they live, and their dressing style. This tribe lives on the top of the mountain with a beautiful landscape.
You'll walk about 1 to 2 hours through the villages. After arriving in the village, you'll visit different daily life activities of the tribe. You'll visit different activities, including how they make our Ethiopian local food called injera, metalwork by the smith, and different handicrafts found only in this village. It is a very interesting tribe with a nice landscape.
After visiting, you'll drive back to Jinka for an overnight stay at the NASA Hotel.

Day 2
Mursi & Dassanech Tribes of the Omo Valley
Mursi & Dassanech Tribes of the Omo Valley
You will drive to Mago National Park and visit the Mursi tribe. They are renowned for their unique custom followed by their women, who, on reaching maturity, have their lower lips slit and circular disks (lip plates) inserted.
Then, you continue the drive to Turmi. In the afternoon, you will drive to the Kenyan border to visit the Dassanech tribe. Here, you will learn about their hunting and farming lifestyle, as well as get to visit their unique villages and learn about the construction behind them. The Dassanech are known for their dancing, and you will hopefully get to see it. They are different from other tribes, with different lifestyles, different ways of making their houses, and different hairstyles.
You will cross the Omo River in local boat canoes. You'll walk around the village and visit it to see what it looks like, the daily life of the tribe, and their activities.
After the visit, you will drive back to Turmi. Your overnight stay will be at Emerald Lodge.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will drive from Turmi to the Nyangatom tribe at the South Sudan border, crossing the Omo River on the biggest bridge. After crossing the bridge, you'll visit this tribe. They are different from other tribes because of the way they dress and their colorful necklaces.
After this, you'll drive to Konso Village (UNESCO Site) to visit the Konso people and their terraces. Konso Village is fascinating to experience as you drive high into the hills and view their elaborate security constructions, wooden constructions, and unique people.
Your overnight stay will be at Kanta Lodge, Konso.

Day 4

Lake Chamo Wildlife Safari & Dorze Mountain Culture
You'll depart from Konso to Arba Minch. This is the day you will enjoy a boat ride on Lake Chamo to see the largest crocodiles, hippos, some monkeys, and beautiful birds in the second biggest lake in Ethiopia, called Lake Chamo. You'll spot hippos and crocodiles during the boat trip.
After the boat trip, you depart from Arba Minch and drive high into the mountains to Chencha to visit the Dorze people. They are known for their weaving culture, which is reflected in their beautiful cotton clothes, fences, and beehive-shaped bamboo huts. Here, you'll learn about their traditions, visit their houses, and experience their daily lifestyle. You'll get to see the process behind the food and alcohol production from the famous banana trees and leaves.
After visiting, you'll stay overnight at Lewi Resort, Sodo.

Day 5

You'll depart from Sodo early in the morning and drive to Chebera Churchura National Park. You arrive at the park and enjoy a guided safari drive to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, lions, and various antelope species. You will explore the park's landscapes, including waterfalls and dense forests.
Your overnight stay will be at the campsite, fully immersed in the natural surroundings.

Day 6

You will spend the full-day at Chebera Churchura National Park.
You will wake up early for another safari drive or a nature walk to explore more of the park's beauty and wildlife. After breakfast, you will embark on a guided hike to discover hidden waterfalls and scenic viewpoints. You will enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the park's natural surroundings.
You will continue wildlife viewing activities in the afternoon, keeping an eye out for any animals you may have missed the previous day.

You will enjoy a final sunrise safari drive or morning nature walk in Chebera Churchura National Park. After breakfast, you depart the park and drive to Hawassa for a late afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa, marking the end of your unforgettable Omo Valley adventure.
