Day 3

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. The vast plains are home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including the iconic Big Five lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. Serengeti is also famous for its cheetahs, often seen sprinting across the open plains, as well as hyenas and wild dogs. Large herds of giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes roam freely, while birdlife abounds with eagles, vultures, ostriches, and colorful migratory species. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, transfer to Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge, preparing for the next day’s adventure.

After breakfast, set out for the final highlight of your safari Ngorongoro Crater, famously known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Descend into the crater and explore its breathtaking landscapes and rich wildlife, including lions, elephants, hippos, and many other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your game drive. Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha. If time permits, enjoy a brief visit to local markets for souvenirs before your transfer to the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable Tanzania safari.
