Day 2

Arusha - Central Serengeti

Arusha - Central Serengeti

After breakfast in Arusha, drive approximately 330–350 km (6–7 hours) through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing highlands, rolling savannahs, and Maasai villages. Stop at Olduvai Gorge to learn about early human history and fossils. Continue to the Central Serengeti for a picnic lunch amidst the plains, then enjoy an afternoon game drive spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. In the evening, check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner and relax under the stars in the heart of the wilderness.
