Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart from Nairobi and drive north towards Samburu National Reserve, enjoying scenic views of the Kenyan countryside. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, then embark on your first afternoon game drive. Look out for the unique Samburu wildlife such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight under the stars.

After breakfast, depart Samburu and head south toward Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingo-filled shores and rhino sanctuary. Stop en route for scenic photo opportunities along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Arrive in time for lunch, then take an afternoon game drive to spot rhinos, giraffes, lions, and waterbirds. Overnight at your lodge overlooking the picturesque lake.
