Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Dar, followed by a transfer to the airport for your flight from Dar es Salaam to Arusha, where you will meet your personal safari guide.

From Arusha, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and one of Tanzania's largest elephant populations.

During a full-day game drive in the park, you will have the opportunity to witness large herds of elephants wandering across the savannah, prides of lions lounging in the shade, and elusive leopards resting on tree branches.

Tarangire's diverse ecosystem is also home to giraffes, zebras, and various species of antelopes.

After an exhilarating day of exploration, retreat to Kankari Lodge. Here, you can enjoy fine dining, elegant accommodations, and panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness, providing the perfect end to your day.

You will depart for Serengeti National Park after breakfast.

This route will take you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, allowing you to see the Ngorongoro Crater along the way (a breathtaking view indeed).

Additionally, you can expect to encounter a wide variety of wildlife during this drive, as the southern plains sometimes host a significant concentration of game.

On the journey, you will stop for a picnic lunch before continuing and arriving at Kontiki Tented Camp in the evening.

Early in the morning, after breakfast at around 7:00 a.m you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with the Maasai people. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory, and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals, including a wide range of bird species, hyenas, and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool, and after that, you will drive straight to Kankari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Visit the Bushmen And a Flight to Dar es Salaam

Meet the Hadzabe community, also known as the bushmen. They are the last hunter-gatherers found in Tanzania’s Rift Valley. The Hadzabe community will welcome you into their ancestral home, and go for a hunt in the bush as they search for their daily meal, and later you’ll return to their community, and they’ll demonstrate their hunting skills as you participate with the young, energetic members of the community. Later, you will visit the Datoga people, skilled metalworkers and farmers, and renowned ironworkers.

After the tour, you’ll head back to your hotel for a hot lunch and drive back to Arusha for a scenic flight to Dar.
