After breakfast, you will take a morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. From there, you’ll embark on a direct drive to Tarangire National Park. Following a picnic lunch, you’ll head out on an exciting game drive to witness the large herds of elephants roaming the heart of the park. In the evening, you’ll return for dinner and an overnight stay at Fig Tree Lodge and Campsite.

Early Morning Game Drives in Ngorongoro + Flight to Zanzibar
Begin your day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera and one of Africa’s most iconic natural wonders. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers an extraordinary concentration of wildlife across its lush plains, soda lakes, and wetlands, where you may encounter herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elands, and warthogs, hippos basking in the water, African elephants roaming the forested areas, and a high density of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and, with luck, the elusive leopard.
The crater’s lakes and marshes are also rich in birdlife, attracting flamingos and a variety of water birds. Around midday, enjoy a packed lunch at the scenic hippo pool picnic site before beginning your journey back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
