Welcome to Tanzania and Arusha City, a city of adventures and many natural attractions! Today you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where we will meet and greet you and transfer you to the hotel. We will then provide you with a briefing and overview of the safari ahead. You may opt to visit Arusha town, including the local market and/or coffee shops.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, the journey to Tarangire National Park will begin. It will be a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for large elephant herds, baobab trees, lions, giraffes, and zebras. You will have a picnic lunch inside the park. Later, the driver-guide will drive you to the lodge, where you will have dinner and your overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, the driver-guide will transfer you to the Ngorongoro Crater, where you will descend to the crater floor for a game drive. Here you can catch the “Big Five:” lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and leopards (with luck). In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch on the crater floor, and in the evening the driver-guide will drive you back to your lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park

Amidst a bright morning at the campsite, you will have an early breakfast and then drive to Lake Manyara National Park. In the park, you will have a guided game drive along the lake and through the groundwater forest, with a chance to see tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and baboons. After the adventure, you will drive to a tented lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

Today you will begin your journey back to Arusha. On the way, you will have a short stop at Meserani Snake Park. Here you will experience Maasai culture and have the option to ride camels. You will see various species of snakes, reptiles, and birds of prey. Afterward, the journey back to the city will resume. Don’t worry, the adventure is not over yet!

Arusha - Materuni Waterfalls

Today the driver-guide will take you to Materuni Village, a Chagga community located on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Experience a nature hike to the Materuni Waterfalls. In the afternoon, you will have a local lunch and a traditional coffee-making experience. Today is a great cultural interaction day.

Today you will have a morning drive to Chemka Hot Springs. Swim in crystal-clear warm water and relax. Later, you will have a picnic lunch. You may take advantage of a rope swing over the springs. After a very relaxing experience, you will drive back to Arusha in the late afternoon.
