Journey to Murchison Falls & Hike To The Top of the Falls

Estimated drive time: 5–6 hours

Your adventure begins with an early departure from Entebbe as you journey north through Uganda's countryside towards Murchison Falls National Park. Passing local communities, farms, and scenic landscapes, you'll gradually enter one of East Africa's most remarkable wilderness areas. Upon arrival, visit the iconic Top of the Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge before crashing into the gorge below with incredible force.

Standing beside the falls, you'll feel the spray on your face and hear the thunderous roar of the world's longest river as it squeezes through a gap only seven meters wide. The dramatic scenery and raw power of nature make this one of Uganda's most unforgettable landmarks before you continue to your lodge for the evening.

Murchison Falls is the centerpiece of Uganda's largest national park and has long been considered one of Africa's most spectacular natural wonders.

Big Game Safari & Nile Boat Cruise

Estimated game drive: 3–4 hours | Boat cruise: 2–3 hours

Wake up early and head into the northern sector of the park for a morning game drive across vast savannah plains. As the bush comes alive with the first light of day, you'll search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and predators that roam these grasslands. With every turn, there is the possibility of a memorable wildlife encounter, making each game drive unique.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls. The riverbanks teem with life as hippos wallow in the water, crocodiles bask in the sun, and elephants gather at the shoreline. The closer you get to the falls, the more impressive the scenery becomes, culminating in breathtaking views of the powerful cascade from below.
