Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a viewpoint for photos. Continue through the rolling plains of western Kenya, arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, exploring the rich grasslands where elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and big cats roam freely. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing in the reserve. Spend the day tracking wildlife across different habitats, from open plains to riverine forests along the Mara River. With luck, spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of plains game. During the migration season, witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the rivers in dramatic scenes. Enjoy lunch in the wild before continuing with game drives until late afternoon. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
