Day 2

Arusha National Park (Walking Safari & Game Drive)

Arusha National Park (Walking Safari & Game Drive)

After breakfast, depart from your hotel around 7:45 am for a short drive to Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and diverse parks. Despite being smaller than other parks, Arusha National Park offers a remarkable variety of landscapes within a compact area.

You will enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger, allowing you to experience wildlife from ground level while learning about animal tracks, vegetation, and ecosystems. This is a unique opportunity to feel truly connected to nature. Later, continue with a game drive through grasslands, swamps, and montane forests, with Mount Meru rising dramatically in the background. Wildlife sightings may include giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, flamingos at Momella Lakes, and the rare black-and-white colobus monkeys.

In the afternoon, return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a drive of approximately 2½ hours. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, some of the oldest and largest trees on the African continent.

Enjoy a full game drive through open savannah, seasonal wetlands, and along the Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife throughout the year. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, warthogs, and, with luck, predators such as lions and leopards. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic viewpoint inside the park before continuing game viewing in the afternoon.

Day 4

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire when animals are still active and the morning light is perfect for photography. Later, depart Tarangire and drive toward Lake Manyara National Park, passing through rural villages and farmland.

In the afternoon, enter Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Despite its compact size, the park offers incredible diversity, from lush groundwater forests to open plains and the alkaline lake itself. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, and a wide variety of birdlife, including flamingos. With some luck, you may also spot the famous tree-climbing lions.

After the game drive, exit the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. The changing landscapes make this one of the most visually interesting drives of the safari.

Stop at Naabi Hill Gate for registration and a picnic lunch before entering the Serengeti. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive across the endless plains that stretch as far as the eye can see. The Serengeti is renowned for its high concentration of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeests and zebras.

This day is fully dedicated to exploring the Serengeti ecosystem. Begin with an early morning game drive at sunrise, when predators are most active and the light is ideal for photography. After returning to camp for breakfast, head out again with packed lunch for an extended game drive.

Your guide will adjust the route based on wildlife movements, maximizing your chances of witnessing unforgettable wildlife encounters. In addition to large mammals, the Serengeti is home to over 500 bird species, making it equally rewarding for bird lovers.

Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight.

After an early start, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with packed breakfast. The crater floor supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa and offers excellent chances to see the Big Five, including the rare black rhinoceros.

Spend approximately 5–6 hours exploring the crater’s grasslands, lakes, and forests before ascending to the rim for lunch. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for your final overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive through coffee and banana plantations toward Mount Kilimanjaro, arriving at Marangu Gate for registration. Begin a guided day hike through lush rainforest to Mandara Hut, which takes approximately three hours.

After lunch and a short rest, continue on a brief but rewarding hike to Maundi Crater for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Later, descend back to Marangu Gate and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.

Route: Marangu Gate (1,800 m) → Mandara Hut (2,743 m).
