Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly for photos and refreshments. Continue through rural landscapes and rolling hills before arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp. After a short rest, head out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the reserve’s open plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and various antelope species. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. Spend the day exploring different areas of the reserve, including riverine habitats where hippos and crocodiles are commonly seen. This is the best opportunity to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will share insights into animal behavior and the ecosystem. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing with more game viewing. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.
