2-Day Akagera Camping Under the Stars

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Kigali-Akagera (evening Safari)

- At 9:00 AM, the driver-guide will pick you up at the assigned pickup point to proceed to Akagera National Park.
- After an hour and a half drive, you will stop at the Imigongo Art Center in Kayonza to enjoy a cup of oriental coffee.
- 12:30: Lunch at Akagera Transit Lodge
- From 01:30 pm to 03:00 pm: Camping set up
- From 03:00pm to 05:00 pm: Evening safari along the lakes for aquatic animals to explore the park. The park is also home to nearly 500 species of birds, including the spectacular shoebill with its incredibly massive beak.
- Visit to the park afterward return to your campsite around 5:00 p.m.
- Making dinner: barbecue (brochettes) with items purchased in super markets
- And then spend your romantic evening as close-knit group of friends
- Accommodation: Camping at Muyumbu Campsite or Shakani Campsite
- Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner (barbecue - skewers with items purchased in super markets)
- Drinks: Mineral water (please bring drinks to enjoy your romantic evening camping).

Full day Akagera Safari

- Enjoy the sunrise in the savannah while getting ready for leaving the campsite.
- At 07:00 breakfast at Akagera Park reception
- After your breakfast, have a full-day safari (approximately 7 hours) in Akagera National Park from south to north to
discover a variety of animals. This third safari will give you the chance to explore the park and observe the Big 5 (lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalo), giraffes, zebras, antelopes, impalas, oribis, and secret bushbucks, as well as ungainly tsessebes and the world's largest antelope, the statuesque Cepeeland...)
- Lunch at Mihindi Campsite
- After lunch, you will continue your game drive to maximize your animal spotting with a great experience of the animal community in the Kilala plain, which is considered as the heart of the park.
- Then return to Kigali around 5:00 p.m.
- Meal plan: Breakfast (Coffee or tea & Snacks), Lunch (picnic snacks or at Mihindi)
- Drinks: Mineral water (or bring drinks)
