At 6:00 AM, you depart from Entebbe as you travel west through Uganda's beautiful countryside. Watch the landscape change from towns to rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages as you make your way towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, head straight to the famous Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise.
As you glide along the water, you'll find yourself surrounded by wildlife. Large pods of hippos wallow just meters away, crocodiles bask on the shoreline, and elephants frequently emerge from the bush to drink. The channel is also a paradise for birdlife making it a rewarding experience. After the cruise, continue to your lodge where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding wilderness.
The Kazinga Channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in East Africa, making it one of Uganda's most celebrated safari experiences.

Wake up early and set out for an unforgettable game drive across the vast Kasenyi Plains, one of the most productive wildlife-viewing areas in Queen Elizabeth National Park. As the morning sun rises over the savannah, you'll search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and other wildlife that thrive in this ecosystem. Every drive offers a different experience, with the possibility of witnessing fascinating animal interactions and dramatic moments in the wild.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon. Spend your time enjoying the scenery, taking in the sounds of nature, or simply unwinding after the morning's adventures. This slower pace allows you to fully appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, head to nearby Kalinzu Forest Reserve for a chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, you'll venture into the forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. As you walk beneath towering trees and listen to the sounds of the forest, your guides will help track the chimps through their natural habitat.
Encountering chimpanzees in the wild is an exciting and often energetic experience. You may observe them feeding, grooming, communicating, or moving through the canopy above, offering a fascinating glimpse into the lives of our closest relatives in the animal kingdom.
Kalinzu Forest is home to a healthy population of chimpanzees and numerous other primate species, making it one of Uganda's most rewarding and accessible primate trekking destinations. After the trek, begin your journey back to Entebbe, arriving later in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
