Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon your arrival in Nairobi, your professional safari driver-guide will meet you early in the morning either at the airport or at your city hotel. After a short safari briefing, you will begin your scenic journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, approximately a 5-hour drive.

Along the way, you will make a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking panoramic views and capture memorable photos. You will then continue your drive through the picturesque countryside, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for check-in and lunch.

In the afternoon, head out for your first exciting game drive in the Masai Mara. Explore the vast savannah plains in search of the Big Five and, during migration season, witness the incredible movement of wildebeest and zebras across the reserve. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Immersive Safari Experience in the Masai Mara

Days 3 and 4 are devoted to unforgettable full-day explorations of the Masai Mara. You will depart the lodge at 6:30 AM as the sun rises over the golden plains and wildlife begins its morning activity. These early hours provide excellent opportunities to spot lions on the move, elephants grazing, cheetahs scanning the horizon.

Spend the days traversing different areas of the reserve in search of the Big Five and a wide variety of other wildlife. During the Great Migration season, head to the iconic Mara River to witness the dramatic crossings of wildebeest and zebras as they face strong currents and lurking crocodiles in one of nature’s most powerful spectacles.

A packed lunch will be enjoyed in the heart of the reserve, allowing you to stay out longer and fully immerse yourself in the wild surroundings. Continue your game drives through the afternoon, capturing incredible moments before returning to the lodge around 6:00 PM, just after enjoying a breathtaking African sunset.

Masai Mara – Nairobi (Maasai Village Visit)

After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. En route, you will visit a traditional Maasai village for a unique cultural experience. Here, you will learn about the Maasai people’s rich heritage, customs, traditional dances, and daily way of life. You will also have the opportunity to explore their manyattas (traditional homes) and interact with community members.

After the visit, you will continue your scenic drive to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with drop-off at the airport or your city hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
