Arrival Arusha to Materuni waterfalls

Get a glimpse into the way Mother Nature accommodates the local people and their everyday activities. Hike the short but challenging route to the Materuni waterfalls, after getting sweaty (ok, glowing!) from your hike.

We depart at 8:00am after breakfast and begin our 2-hour scenic drive journey to Materuni. We take a walk-through coffee farms, local shops, vegetation and participation in some of the local activities acquiring knowledge on how coffee is grown and even participate in roasting, pounding and grinding your own coffee.

Tarangire National Park

You'll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and driven to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch. After a two-hour drive to the park's entrance, you will enjoy a full-day game drive in this park known for its high concentration of elephants and diverse wildlife. You will have lunch at a designated picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River. Then, you will continue with another game drive before heading to serengeti national park.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti Nnational Park

After breakfast, you will drive into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to stop and take in the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Following this, you will continue your journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area until you reach the southern part of Serengeti National Park.

The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular, known for its vast open grasslands that provide excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings. While it is home to a wide variety of wildlife, it is especially famous for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you visit, you may witness one of the seven wonders of the natural world, as vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope migrate in search of water and fresh grass.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast, you'll journey from Serengeti to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. As you approach, the crater reveals itself like a hidden gem—an ancient volcanic caldera teeming with life, framed by lush, towering walls. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a breathtaking blend of golden savannahs, tranquil lakes, and acacia-dotted woodlands, shaped by a colossal eruption millions of years ago.

The descent into the crater feels like stepping into a nature documentary. Once on the crater floor, you’ll find yourself surrounded by an astonishing array of wildlife: herds of wildebeest and zebra roam freely, graceful gazelles dart across the plains, and over 500 bird species fill the air with song. Ngorongoro Crater and flight to zanzibar

After breakfast at your lodge, you will descend early into the Crater floor for game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater. The earlier you descend to the Crater floor so you may descend after breakfast or even with a packed breakfast to be at the Crater floor as early as you can and better your chances of seeing the rare animals like black rhinos with a little luck. You'll spend the better part of the morning exploring the Ngorongoro Crater until lunchtime. Ngorongoro Crater, with its 60 to 650 meter high walls, is like a natural zoo with the highest concentration of wild animals. It is here where you can even spot the Big Five in one day if lucky enough. After picnic lunch, which you will most likely take at the hippo poolside designated picnic site, you will get Air transfer(flight) to Zanzibar.
