After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino -as well as hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and flamingos along Lake Magadi.
