Day 2

After breakfast, your safari adventure officially begins with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes away. Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy game viewing in an open-roof safari vehicle, where you may encounter giraffes, zebras, lions, leopards, warthogs, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot within the park. Continue your exploration into the afternoon before heading to your campsite inside the park.

Day 3

Tarangire to Manyara National Park

Tarangire to Manyara National Park

Start your day early with a sunrise game drive in Tarangire, followed by breakfast and a final morning of wildlife viewing. Later, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara offers a rich variety of ecosystems, from groundwater forests to open plains. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, as well as large populations of monkeys, elephants, buffalo, and flamingos.

After your game drive, head to your nearby camping site for dinner and overnight.

Here, you’ll experience authentic interactions with two indigenous communities: The Datoga, known for their traditional blacksmithing skills, The Hadzabe (Hadza), one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in East Africa, You may have the opportunity to join the Hadzabe on a traditional hunting excursion and learn about their unique way of life, including their click-based language and simple dwellings.

After approximately five hours of exploration, ascend from the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
