Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment with a scenic stop en route. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park mid-morning and begin your game drive as you make your way to your lodge.
Lake Nakuru is a protected rhino sanctuary, offering one of the best opportunities in Kenya to see both black and white rhinos. You may also spot lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species. The lake itself is often dotted with flamingos and pelicans, creating beautiful photographic scenes.
Enjoy lunch at your lodge followed by an afternoon game drive to explore more of the park’s diverse landscapes, from acacia woodlands to open savannah and rocky cliffs.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi
Morning Game Drive & Return to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, head out for a final morning game drive when wildlife is most active. This is a great time to track predators returning from their night hunts or catch rhinos grazing in the soft morning light.
Return to the lodge for late breakfast (or depart with packed breakfast), then exit the park and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
