Day 2
Tarangire National Park

After enjoying breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, your guide will pick you up for departure to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, known as the “river of warthogs,” it becomes the main water source for wildlife during the dry season.
The park features a mix of dense vegetation, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forests. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering along the riverbanks. You may also spot giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests, with lions and leopards nearby. The park is also home to more breeding bird species than anywhere else in the world, making it a paradise for wildlife and bird enthusiasts alike.

On the way, you will travel through the misty rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may spot baboons, leopards, or elephants hidden in the dense vegetation. You will also have the chance to admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater before continuing to Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday.
Serengeti National Park, the largest in Tanzania, is renowned for its diverse landscapes, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. After an exciting game drive, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will spend a full day in Serengeti National Park, with the schedule fully tailored to your preferences. Each day, your guide will discuss the best timings with you, including game drives and wake-up times.
For this day, you could enjoy a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and some relaxation, then finish with an afternoon game drive. Alternatively, you may choose a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch, allowing you to make the most of the incredible wildlife and landscapes.

You will rise early for a journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. This incredible crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of African wildlife on the continent.
Measuring nearly 20 km across and about 610 m deep, it hosts a remarkable variety of animals. In addition to the Big Five, you may see wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy lunch at a scenic picnic site before continuing your game viewing within the crater.
Ngorongoro features a river, several swamps, a soda lake frequented by flamingos, lush forests, and open plains. It is also famous for its magnificent elephants with enormous tusks, nourished by the mineral-rich volcanic soil and grasses. Truly a natural wonder, the crater offers unforgettable wildlife experiences. You will then head to your lodge in time to enjoy a stunning sunset and some well-deserved relaxation.

Day 6
Lake Manyara National ParK

After breakfast, you will take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment along the way. Your first wildlife encounter may be with large troops of baboons. The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions.
Visit Lake Manyara, an alkaline soda lake that attracts an incredible variety of birds. Thousands of pink flamingos dot the lake’s shore, while yellow-billed storks soar and corkscrew on the thermal winds, and herons glide gracefully against the sunlit sky. Even casual bird watchers will be amazed, and you may also spot hippos in the waters.
A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site before you begin the drive back to Arusha, where you will check into your lodge for an overnight stay.
