Day 2

Central Serengeti National Park

Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti. This region is well known for the Great Migration (seasonal) and for hosting a high density of predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

You will spend the day tracking wildlife, stopping for a picnic lunch inside the park while surrounded by the stunning savannah landscape. The open plains, rocky kopjes, and river valleys make this area one of the most spectacular safari destinations in Africa.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.

The Ngorongoro Crater is often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World” and is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five — lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. The crater floor offers a unique ecosystem with forests, grasslands, and a soda lake that attracts flamingos.
