Day 1

Your Kenya Safari starts with pick up from your Nairobi Hotel or Airport at 0800hrs and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Located on the Southern Part of Kenya about 275KMs from Nairobi, you will drive for approximately 6-7 hours skirting through the Great Rift Valley View Point and Narok Town. You will arrive at your camp in Masai Mara at around 1400hrs for lunch then proceed to check-in followed by an introductory afternoon game drive. Masai Mara is popularly known for its breathtaking landscapes and plenty of wildlife making it one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations with high concentration of wildlife. The park’s open grasslands provide an ideal hunting grounds for the apex predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

On this day you can decide to start with a sunrise Hot Air Balloon Safari at an extra cost of $450 per person with champagne breakfast. Proceed with a full day game drive within the reserve in search of The Big Five animals (Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Rhinos and Buffalo). What amazes tourists in this reserve is the annual migration of wildebeests. The animals shift on July and return on November and is among the seventh wonder of the world. The park has the largest concentration of African lions, including the black-maned lion. Bird life is in plenty as wildlife at the Mara, which boasts over 400 different bird species. At around 1600hrs exit the park with an option visiting the nearby Maasai Village/Community at an extra cost of $25 per person. You will have the opportunity to learn and interact with the local Maasai Community popular and better-known ethnic people in East Africa due to their traditional origins from areas surrounding Masai Mara Game Reserve.

Day 3

Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park

Early morning breakfast then checkout from your camp/lodge at 0700hrs and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park about 275KMs. You will drive for approximately 5-6 hours arriving at your Nakuru hotel around 1300hrs for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive from 1430hrs to 1800hrs. Lake Nakuru National Park is a standpoint and harbor for watching more than 400 species of birds in rift valley with the main highlight being the flamingos forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lake shore. The park is also a rhino sanctuary harboring a population of more than 100 black and white rhinos and also offers great sightseeing of larger predators like the lions and leopards.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at around 0800hrs checkout and drive further to Lake Naivasha about 80KMs. You will arrive at your hotel in Naivasha at around 1000hrs check-in and relax for approximately 1-2 hours then lunch. At around 1300hrs you will depart to the nearby Hell's Gate National Park for an afternoon game drive, guided walk or biking across the Park. Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the places in Kenya where you can walk alongside wild animals as there are no predators. Take great pictures with an animal background as you descend down to the Hell’s Gate Gorge. At the Gorge, you can enjoy a guided nature walk with the local guides to spice up your Kenya safari memories. Later ascend to the gate, exit the park and return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park

Start with an early breakfast, checkout and enjoy boat safari to the Crescent Island Sanctuary spending time relaxing on a boat across the lake, where you will spot pods of hippos and a rich variety of birdlife including fish eagles, cormorants, and kingfishers. Disembark at Crescent Island, a privately owned sanctuary where you will take a guided nature walk and stroll freely among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles. At around 1030hrs exit the sanctuary and drive further to Amboseli National Park with a stopover for Lunch in Nairobi. After lunch proceed with your journey arriving at your Amboseli National Park lodge or camp before sunset for check-in and relaxation while enjoying perfect views of Africa’s highest mountain Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Rise up early for breakfast and embark on a full day game drive with parked lunch as you enjoy good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area in the whole of Africa to experience elephant at close range. Your game drive will take you to the observation hill to have a better overall view of the park including the adjacent marshy swamps. Wildlife is abundant in this park together with pelicans and other bird species. Your game viewing will be spread to cover the open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush country, swamps and marshland.

Early morning drive to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch followed with an afternoon game drive. Tsavo West is the most visited section in Tsavo National Park, offering many attractions apart from its wildlife. The foremost is the famous Mzima Springs where up to 227.3 million liters of cool crystal-clear water flows out of the ground through porous volcanic rocks. The water is believed to originate from Chuyulu Hills, via an underground river.

After breakfast, proceed further to Tsavo East National Park arriving in time for lunch followed with an afternoon game drive. Large heard of red-skinned elephants and Man-eaters (lions) of Tsavo define this park. One of the Park’s most recognizable features is the Yatta Plateau, which is the longest lava flow in the World. The Park is home to a good population of Giraffe, Zebra, Impala Gazelles, and Buffalo. Large prides of Lions, Leopards and Cheetah represent predators in the park.

After breakfast you decide to extend your safari to coast (Mombasa, Diani or Malindi) by train with a drop off at Emali Train Station or drive back to Nairobi arriving later in the afternoon followed by a transfer to the Airport or Nairobi Hotel. Depending on what time you will arrive in Nairobi and if time permits, our driver guide will arrange a Bonus Nairobi city tour and shopping for those who could like to carry home some souvenirs.
