Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from the lodge early in the morning for a scenic journey to Arusha National Park, with lunch boxes provided for your convenience. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive, followed by a guided walking exploration of the park accompanied by a park ranger, offering excellent opportunities for birdwatching. After a full day of wildlife and nature, you will be transferred back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, your tour guide driver will pick you up with picnic lunch boxes and proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals that reside here year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and the rare black rhino. The crater also hosts a rich variety of birdlife such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Thanks to its dense wildlife population, you can expect remarkable animal sightings within a short time.

Day 5

Visit Lake Eyasi

Visit Lake Eyasi

In the morning, after breakfast, your safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi to visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. The Hadzabe are well known for their traditional hunting skills, and you will have the unique opportunity to accompany them and learn about their ancient hunting techniques and way of life.

After your time with the Hadzabe, you will visit the Datoga tribe, who are highly skilled blacksmiths known for crafting tools and jewelry using traditional methods passed down through generations.

You will also enjoy a guided walk around Lake Eyasi and visit a nearby local village, offering insight into authentic rural African life. After these enriching cultural experiences, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

This day, you will be picked up from the lodge early in the morning and begin a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park for a wildlife game drive, carrying lunch boxes for your convenience. After the game drive, you will return to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your safari adventure.

Tarangire National Park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which winds through the park and serves as the main source of water for wildlife during the dry season. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and diverse landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to open savannah. During your game drive, you may witness lions stalking their prey or leopards resting gracefully in the trees.
