Day 1
Aruaha -- Tarangire National Park
Aruaha -- Tarangire National Park
Our safari guide will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Arusha and drive you with lunch boxes in hand approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
The park is named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. This “river of warthogs” is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The park is well known for its elephant families, which are often seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. Lunch will be served at a picnic site inside the park.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
You'll rise early in the morning and enjoy breakfast. After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you with lunch boxes in hand to the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Once the game drive is complete, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and your overnight stay.
This park features a beautiful environment with shimmering lakes and wetlands, patches of acacia woodland, and broad savannah hidden behind the sheer volcanic walls. The journey into the crater is an adventure in itself. Once at the bottom, you will be surrounded by over 500 species of birds, zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest. The crater also provides the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted on the open grasslands.

Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from the lodge. You will then depart with lunch boxes in hand for Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. Once the game drive is complete, you will be transferred to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, where our service ends.
Lake Manyara National Park is small but diverse. The scale of everything here is unique. It is both majestic, with the Great Rift Escarpment towering over its western edge, and compact, being one of Africa's narrowest parks. A small salt lake gives the park its name. Thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and more than 500 other species, call it home. You may also spot baboons and elephants in the park’s dense evergreen forest.
