You depart from Nairobi in the morning. You'll be picked up either from the Airport or from a hotel as per your request. If you want to be picked up from the Airport, you need to have an early morning arrival. The safari starts by traveling south towards Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of rural landscapes and, on clear days, the majestic silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Upon arrival, you head straight into the park for your first exciting game drive. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, and diverse wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of birdlife. After this memorable introduction to the park, you continue to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening surrounded by the beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Today is a scenic driving day as you travel from Amboseli National Park towards Lake Nakuru National Park, journeying through some of Kenya’s most diverse and ever-changing landscapes. Leaving Amboseli behind, you pass open plains, rural villages, and rolling countryside, gradually ascending into the lush highlands of the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you witness daily life unfold and enjoy impressive views of escarpments, farmland, and expansive valleys that showcase the country’s natural beauty.
The journey offers a wonderful opportunity to relax, take in the scenery, and experience Kenya beyond the wildlife reserves. You may stop along the route to stretch your legs, or capture memorable photographs of the dramatic landscapes. By the time you reach the Lake Nakuru area, the scenery shifts once more to wooded hills and acacia forests surrounding the lake. Upon arrival at your lodge, you can unwind, enjoy the peaceful setting, and prepare for the exciting safari experience.

Day 3

Your day begins with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, when wildlife is most active and the soft morning light creates perfect viewing conditions. You explore the park’s diverse landscapes of open grasslands, acacia forests, and lakeshore areas while searching for white and black rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and, with some luck, lions or leopards. The lake itself often attracts large numbers of flamingos and other bird species, offering beautiful scenery and memorable wildlife encounters.
After your morning safari, you continue your journey towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, travelling through the scenic Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s rolling countryside. Upon arrival at your lodge or camp, you have time to relax, settle in, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings while preparing for the exciting safari experiences that await you in the Maasai Mara.

Day 4

Today you have a full day to immerse yourself in the magic of the Maasai Mara. You set off early, when the wildlife is most active and the morning light paints the plains in soft golden tones. Your guide will take you deep into the reserve, exploring different ecosystems, from open grasslands teeming with grazers to riverine forests where elephants and buffalo often gather. Throughout the day you’ll search for the Big Five, observe predators on the move, and witness the everyday drama of life in the wild. A picnic lunch is enjoyed under the shade of an acacia tree, with panoramic views stretching out in every direction. In the afternoon, you continue your game drive as the temperatures cool and animals become active again. You return to the lodge in the early evening to unwind, share stories and enjoy dinner surrounded by the sounds of the savannah.

Day 5
Maasai Mara - Nairobi

After breakfast, you begin your drive back to Nairobi. As you leave the Mara behind, you can enjoy the changing landscapes along the way. The drive takes around five to six hours, and you’ll arrive in the city later in the day. Your safari adventure comes to an end, full of incredible memories and unforgettable wildlife encounters. We can take you to a hotel or to the airport if you have a late flight out.
