Walk with the Elephants

Final Day

Set off on a scenic drive to Cape Agulhas, the official southernmost tip of Africa, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to climb the historic lighthouse and take in sweeping views of the rugged coastline from this iconic landmark.

Continue along the coast to Hermanus, a town world-famous for its exceptional land-based whale watching — particularly between June and November — where southern right whales can often be spotted from the dramatic cliff paths (an optional boat cruise is available for a closer encounter). Enjoy time at leisure for lunch and a relaxed stroll through this charming seaside town, browsing its boutiques and soaking up the coastal atmosphere (for your own account).
