Your adventure begins in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Arusha Charity Hotel. This comfortable hotel offers a relaxing environment after your journey. You will have time to rest, refresh, and prepare for the exciting days ahead. Arusha sits at the foot of Mount Meru, and its peaceful atmosphere sets the perfect tone for your safari experience.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and less crowded parks. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees that stand tall across the landscape. The Tarangire River attracts many animals, especially during the dry season, making wildlife viewing very rewarding.

During your game drive, you may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and many bird species. The open savannah and river valleys provide excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife observation. In the evening, you head to Ikumbi Safari Lodge where you will enjoy dinner and relax in a peaceful natural setting.

Today you travel towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is part of the adventure, as the scenery changes from highlands to vast open plains. As you enter Serengeti, you immediately feel the greatness of its endless landscapes.

Serengeti is known worldwide for its incredible wildlife and the Great Migration. Large populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and many other animals live here. You will enjoy a game drive on the way to Wildebeest Camp, where you will stay for two nights. The camp offers a true safari atmosphere, allowing you to feel close to nature while staying comfortable.

This day is dedicated to exploring Serengeti in depth. With a full-day game drive, you have more time to search for predators and witness natural wildlife behavior. Early mornings and late afternoons are the best times to see animals active.

You may encounter lions resting on kopjes, cheetahs scanning the plains, or large herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the savannah. Every moment in Serengeti feels special because the landscape is wide, open, and truly wild. After an exciting day, you return to Wildebeest Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is one of the most unique wildlife destinations in the world. The crater floor is home to a high concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and the rare black rhino.

Because the animals live within the crater walls, wildlife viewing is excellent throughout the year. The scenery is breathtaking, with green plains, small lakes, and forested areas all within the crater. After your game drive, you head to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge located on the crater rim, offering stunning panoramic views.

On your final day, you visit Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its lush groundwater forest, open plains, and the alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and other birdlife. Lake Manyara is also famous for its tree-climbing lions and large troops of baboons.

You will enjoy a game drive through different habitats within the park, giving you a final opportunity to see Tanzania’s rich wildlife. In the afternoon, you drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your safari adventure.
