From Arusha to Tarangire for your first Game Drive

After breakfast, depart for a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its striking landscapes and impressive wildlife. Towering baobab trees and sweeping savannah plains create a dramatic setting as your game drive begins.

Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant herds, often seen gathering near the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and various antelope species. Keep watch for predators such as lions and, with luck, elusive leopards resting in the trees. The park is also rich in birdlife, offering excellent sightings throughout the day.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later, transfer to your lodge near the park for dinner and an overnight stay. Accommodation upgrades are optional for an extra cost.
