Today is about immersing yourself in the Mara. With a packed lunch, you’ll spend the entire day traversing the savannah in search of the Big Five and, if season permits (July-October), witness the drama of the Mara River crossings during the Great Migration. Your shared safari van (pop-up roof) will allow for great photography opportunities.

Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha -

Activity: Scenic Drive & Boat Ride.
After breakfast, we depart the Mara and drive towards the Rift Valley. We arrive at the freshwater Lake Naivasha in the afternoon. Here, you’ll embark on a shared boat ride, getting up close to hippos, fish eagles, and a myriad of waterbirds. The evening is spent at a budget lodge or campsite on the lake's edge.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

For the adventurous, the morning offers an optional self-driven bike hire or taxi tour into Hell’s Gate National Park—a unique park where you can walk or cycle among zebras and giraffes.
Later, we drive south, passing through Nairobi, to the Kilimanjaro foothills, arriving at Amboseli in the evening.

Activity: Full-Day Game Drives
Amboseli is famous for its super tusker elephants and views of Mount Kilimanjaro. We’ll start with an early morning game drive to catch the sunrise over "Kili" (weather permitting).
After breakfast at the camp, we head back into the park to explore the marshes and plains, observing buffalo, zebras, and waders. This budget itinerary maximizes time in the park with two game drive sessions.
