Day 1

Fly to Mara National Reaserve

Fly to Mara National Reaserve

Your adventure starts with a morning flight from Nairobi, offering a bird's-eye view of the Great Rift Valley before touching down in the Mara. A camp representative will meet you at the airstrip for a "game drive en route" to the camp, where you might spot your first zebras or elephants before even checking in. After a gourmet lunch overlooking the escarpment, you’ll head out for a late afternoon game drive. As the sun dips below the horizon, the experience transitions into a night game drive using filtered spotlights. This is the best time to find elusive nocturnal hunters like leopards, as well as unique creatures such as honey badgers, aardvarks, and eagle owls that remain hidden during the day. You’ll return to camp for dinner by the bonfire under a canopy of stars.

After coffee and biscuits at dawn, you will head out for an immersive morning exploration of the Mara Triangle, one of the most wildlife-rich sectors of the ecosystem. This area is renowned for its high predator density and the iconic Mara River. Following your morning drive, the focus shifts to a visit to the White Rhino Sanctuary located within the Conservancy. Here, you can witness successful conservation efforts firsthand and get remarkably close to these prehistoric giants in a safe, protected environment. After lunch, the adventure continues with an afternoon game drive, allowing you to track the Big Five and soak in the vast savannah landscapes until sunset.
