Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru NP

On arrival at JKIA International Airport, or pick up at your hotel, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari. Depart and drive via Nairobi towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery having a stopover at the viewpoint en-route arriving at the pink lake as often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos. Check in at The Ziwa Bush Lodge Nakuru, have lunch and after lunch, proceed for a game drive in the park with numerous animals. During the game drive you will see the huge numbers of flamingos which are concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the birdlife for which Lake Nakuru is so well known, there are many different wildlife species in the park including lion, leopard, black rhino, white rhino, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebra, impala and waterbuck. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at The Ziwa Bush Lodge Nakuru.

Day 2

You will have an early morning game drive at Lake Nakuru in search for the animals. After having breakfast, you will drive to Masai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves.

You will arrive at Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. You'll check in at Mara Olodare Camp and have a hot lunch.

Around 4:00 pm, you will visit the Maasai village, where you’ll experience the Maasai culture and interact with the locals.

Later, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3

Today’s program is also very flexible; you can choose between three options.

Option 1: You'll have breakfast and exit the lodge with a packed lunch for a whole-day game drive at the Mara Reserve, searching for the Big Five and other animals.

Option 2: You may opt to have an early morning game drive in search of the big cat and the killings. You'll return for breakfast, freshen up, and spend the rest of the midmorning at your leisure, either swimming in the pool or just relaxing. Later, you'll have lunch and proceed for the evening game drive around 4 pm, searching for the Big Five and other animals.

You may also choose an optional hot air balloon ride (USD 450pp) in the early morning. You will be picked up from your lodge and transferred to the balloon launch site. The experience takes about an hour. Later, you'll return to the lodge via Masai village for lunch. Around 4:00 pm, you'll proceed for an afternoon game drive.

You will have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Have breakfast at the camp. Depart for Nairobi with game drive en-route. A stop is provided at Narok Town the Maasai city where you can buy handicrafts and souvenirs.
On arrival, drop off at your city hotel, or transfer to the airport for your final departure.
