Arusha - Southern Serengeti National Park

You’ll be collected from your hotel in Arusha and begin your journey to the Ndutu region of the Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife areas. You'll enjoy a scenic drive through the changing landscapes before arriving in the Ndutu area.

After lunch at a scenic location, you continue with an afternoon game drive as you make your way toward your camp. Keep your eyes open for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, giraffes, and the predators that follow the abundant herds.

Ndutu is particularly famous during the Great Migration calving season, when large herds gather on the open plains to give birth. The abundance of newborn animals attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, creating exceptional opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Southern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu) - Karatu for Overnight Stay

You'll rise early and enjoy a full day exploring the Ndutu region of the Serengeti, renowned for its exceptional wildlife and seasonal Great Migration activity. You will spend the morning and afternoon on game drives, searching for wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other wildlife across the open plains.

During the calving season, the Ndutu plains become a spectacular wildlife arena as large herds gather to give birth, attracting numerous predators. Your experienced guide will follow the latest wildlife movements to maximize your game-viewing opportunities.

After the afternoon game drive, you will begin your journey toward Karatu for a relaxing evening and overnight at your lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Rise early for a morning game drive, when wildlife activity is often particularly rewarding. Continue exploring different areas of the Serengeti according to wildlife movements and your guide's recommendations.

After a picnic lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive. Your guide will focus on finding the best wildlife opportunities, including predators and large herbivore herds. In the late afternoon transfer to karatu for overnight stay and relaxation.
