Day 1

Guided Game Drive Tarangire National Park

Guided Game Drive Tarangire National Park

Our safari will start in the morning from Arusha, heading directly to Tarangire National Park. The park is famous for large herds of elephants that roam together, which is truly a unique sight. It is surrounded by massive baobab trees, believed to live for many centuries, which provide shade for smaller animals like impalas and zebras. The trees’ trunks are loved by elephants as they store enough moisture, making them a vital water source during the dry season.

The park is also home to many birds, with an estimated 500 species. It is especially known for the ostrich, the largest flightless bird in the world, which is strong and fast moving.

After an exciting game drive, you will have the chance to relax at Eileen’s Tree, enjoy dinner, and rest in preparation for the next day.
