On the final day, the game drive begins with an early breakfast before descending into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often described as Africa’s natural wildlife amphitheater. Formed millions of years ago, the crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Its enclosed ecosystem supports an extraordinary concentration of wildlife year-round. A picnic lunch is typically enjoyed near the hippo pool, surrounded by nature and the sounds of the wild. After lunch, a final short game drive follows before ascending the crater rim. Around late afternoon, you proceed toward Arusha, enjoying scenic views of the Ngorongoro highlands along the way. officially concluding your 3-day Northern Tanzania safari experience.
