On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, the company representative will be waiting to receive you and then transfer you to Kampala.
You will have a pre safari briefing on this day to answer all your queries and get all clarifications about the safari.
Dependent on your time of arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon tour of Kampala with a visit to the Africa Offices, one of the local community initiatives that helps improve the lives of women and children through Craft. There are plenty of beautiful souvenirs you can purchase from purses, necklaces, animated stuffed Knit dolls & so much more
Arrivals, the evenings will be spent at Ndere Cultural Centre, taking you around Ugandan Culture through Music & Dance. African Buffet dinner will be served before proceeding to the overnight stay at Resort.

Day 2

You'll have an early morning breakfast, after which you will check out and transfer to Kibale National Park. You'll arrive in time for lunch at Kibale Forest Camp.
Later in the afternoon, you'll transfer for the 3 hour nature walk in the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary. The “Home of the Great Blue Turaco” is a real bird watcher’s paradise. This wonderful place shelters over 200 species of birds. Furthermore, the sanctuary is the home of 8 species of primates. You'll return to Kibale Forest Camp in the evening to settle in for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, it’s an early start to the Kibale Forest National Park headquarters, arriving early morning to track the habituated Chimpanzees. These engaging apes, our closest living relative, are great fun to watch as they play and fight in the fruit trees. The experienced guides will introduce you to the different members of the chimp families, as well as the birds and plant life of the forest. You'll return to the lodge in time for lunch. You'll enjoy an afternoon tour of the crater lakes within the area.

Day 4

You'll have breakfast and check out, transferring to Queen Elizabeth National Park going via the Kasese Equator monument site.
You will enjoy a game viewing drive into the Park. You'll have an early lunch and in the evening, depart for the boat ride along the Kazinga Channel.
This ride lasts 3 hours with so much to see: buffaloes, hippos, Nile Crocodile, birds by the channel, and local fishing villages. This is the main water point of this area, so plenty of animals come. Your dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will check out of Lodge, going via the Ishasha Lion Tree climbing area on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will have an evening nature walk upon arrival Ruhija.
There will be a stop en route for lunch. You'll be arriving late afternoon to check in, have dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 6

You'll have an early morning transfer to the trailhead in the national park, where you will join your group for a briefing before setting off on the most unforgettable adventure of gorilla trekking. As the gorillas move constantly searching for food, the trek duration will vary, and the anticipation and the beauty of the forest make it all worthwhile. After the gorillas have been located, you will spend an amazing hour in their company. You'll return to your lodge later in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7
Transfer to Rwanda
Transfer to Rwanda
Breakfast and check out from Lodge to start your journey into Rwanda. For immigration purposes, you will go via the Cyanika Border, where you will obtain clearance & Visas into Rwanda at this point.
You'll have a stop for lunch. Then, you'll proceed to the Dian Fossey Museum located in Musanze, just outside Volcanoes National Park.
The Museum was founded by the Karisoke Research Center & was initially operated by Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International. Both the research center & gorilla fund were founded in remembrance of Dian Fossey.
This gorilla museum holds several photographs, historic objects, information, and various interactive activities about mountain gorilla conservation and protection. The exhibit center is considered a must visit after or before gorilla trekking. The visit will last approximately 3 hours.
After the visit, you'll proceed to check in, rest, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 8

After breakfast, you'll transfer to Volcanoes National Park for the hike to the Dian Fossey Tomb.
The hike begins at the slopes of Mt Bisoke & upon arrival at the Tomb site, you will be briefed and educated about Dian Fossey, who sacrificed her life to save the mountain gorillas that were hunted so much at the time.
The hike also offers views of the park as you go higher. You'll see golden monkeys, elephants, buffalo, antelope, and birds. The hike lasts approximately 3 to 4hrs and we advise guests to have on comfortable, natural colored clothing and good hiking shoes.
There will also be a 1 hour stop at the Gorilla Guardians village, which is also known as Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, meaning ‘treasure of our home’. The village gives an insight into the everyday lives of the village communities in ancient Rwanda without leaving out their music & dance. You'll return to lodge for lunch before proceeding to Kigali.

Day 9

After breakfast in the morning, you'll transfer to the Genocide Memorial site.
Rwanda cannot write its history without mentioning what it went through, and this site reminds her of how many people had to lose their lives for the Country to stand right now.
The memorial gardens provide a place for quiet contemplation about the history of the Genocide against the Tutsi. They allow visitors to reflect on how we all have a personal responsibility to prevent discrimination and mass atrocity.
The Centre also provides support for survivors, in particular orphans and widows. You will have a guided tour of this site. There will be a stop for lunch before proceeding to the airport for your departure flight.
