Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Morning Departure & Rift Valley Ascent The safari commences with a 7:30 AM departure from Nairobi. The route climbs the Limuru escarpment, offering a panoramic stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. From this vantage point, the sheer scale of the valley floor and the dormant volcanoes of Mt. Suswa and Mt. Longonot are visible.

Arrival & Afternoon Exploration The drive continues through the agricultural hub of Narok, arriving at the Talek region of the Masai Mara in time for a warm welcome and lunch. After settling into the camp, the first game drive begins at 4:00 PM. The Talek area is renowned for its high density of "Big Cats," particularly leopards that frequent the riverine forests and lions that patrol the open plains

Full day Maasai Mara

Full-Day Savannah Expedition Following an early breakfast, the day is dedicated to a deep-tissue exploration of the Masai Mara National Reserve.

Bush Picnic & Predator Tracking A picnic lunch will be served under a classic Acacia tree in the heart of the reserve, allowing for uninterrupted wildlife viewing. The afternoon focuses on tracking the "Big Five"—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—alongside cheetahs, hyenas, and vast herds of plains game. The day concludes with a return to the camp as the sun sets over the horizon.

Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Sunrise in the Mara The day begins with a final breakfast in the Masai Mara, soaking in the sounds of the African bush. After checking out, the journey proceeds toward the Great Rift Valley, heading north to Lake Nakuru National Park.

Arrival in Nakuru & Afternoon Game Drive Upon arrival in Nakuru, the group will check into Buraha Zenoni Hotel and Resort for lunch and a brief period of relaxation. In the afternoon, the safari enters Lake Nakuru National Park. This park is a premier sanctuary for both Black and White Rhinos and is home to the rare Rothschild Giraffe. The lake’s edge is often a shimmering carpet of pink due to the massive flocks of Lesser and Greater Flamingos.

Departure

Leisurely Morning & Departure The final morning is designed for relaxation and reflection. After a full breakfast at Buraha Zenoni, you will check out and begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi. The route offers a different perspective of the Rift Valley floor, passing through the bustling town of Naivasha.

Nairobi Arrival The journey concludes with a transfer directly to your preferred hotel or the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) for your onward flight. Arrival in Nairobi is typically between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, depending on traffic conditions.
