Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide representing Wilderness Insight Safaris. After a short briefing about your safari, you will be transferred to your lodge in Arusha.
This day is reserved for relaxation after your international flight. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy leisure time at the lodge, swim, or simply rest while preparing for your upcoming wildlife adventure.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its spectacular landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees and one of the highest elephant densities in Tanzania.
Upon entering the park, begin a full-day game drive. Tarangire is especially famous during the dry season when thousands of animals gather along the Tarangire River. You may encounter:
Large elephant families crossing the savannah
Lions resting under acacia trees
Giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and impalas
Occasional sightings of leopards
Over 500 bird species
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park while surrounded by wilderness.
In the late afternoon, drive to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge, beautifully located along the Great Rift Valley escarpment with breathtaking panoramic views over Lake Manyara.

Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This scenic drive passes through highland forests and vast plains, offering dramatic landscapes and Maasai villages along the way.
Arrive in Central Serengeti (Seronera region) around midday and begin your first Serengeti game drive.
The Serengeti ecosystem is world-renowned for:
Endless open plains
Strong predator presence
Large herbivore populations
The Great Migration (seasonal)
Expect sightings of lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and possibly leopards in riverine areas.

This day is dedicated to an immersive full-day safari experience.
You will start early when wildlife activity is at its peak. Morning hours offer excellent predator action as lions and cheetahs hunt in the cool temperatures.
Depending on wildlife movement, your guide will strategically explore different areas including:
Open savannah plains
River systems
Kopjes (rock formations where lions often rest)
You may choose between returning to the lodge for lunch or enjoying a full-day picnic safari to maximize wildlife viewing time.
This extended time in Serengeti greatly increases your chance of spotting the Big Five in natural behavior.
Return to Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders.
Descend 600 meters into the crater for a half-day game drive. The crater floor hosts one of the densest wildlife populations in Africa.
Possible sightings include:
Black rhino (rare and protected)
Large male lions
Elephants with impressive tusks
Buffalo herds
Hippos in freshwater pools
Flamingos near Lake Magadi
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending in the afternoon.
Later, proceed to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

The park offers a beautiful contrast to Serengeti’s open plains.
